Do you remember the days when dreams were bigger?

All it takes is time to change it all.
The city lights drown it all out, but you bring it back to the surface.
You words like waves crashing down on an unwated beach.
As the waves lapp up the sand, it slowly drags me out to sea.

Nowhere

It leads to nowhere.

Devastating all who come across it.

The darkness thickens with every step.

Vocies come from every direction, and yet you are alone.

And now that your standing in the middle , a vocie breaks through the silence.

One vocie that only your heart knows.

One that told you " I love you"

Empty words that are used to much by the world.

Your turn and leave the desperate vocies behind.

To Fall

This hollow heart will never be the same.

Many years of waiting turned it to dust.

The light will never reach my soul, its path is blocked by anger and fear.

Blocked by dreams to see the world.

I held on tightly to my last breath as i fall to a place where the light never reaches.

Falling into the depths of your heart.

Wanting

Have you ever gotten that felling?

The felling of being wrong with every step you take?

All of the eyes of the world staring back at you.

They never see you, only what the beauty magazines tell you what you are.

Felling alone in a sea of people.

Never being good enough for the next person.

Always wanting to break free, but being pushed down by fear and the minds of millions.

The world you live in has a heart beat of one.

Wanting the pounding sound to be joined by another.

Always wanting what you cant have.

No Longer

The dim light in my heart flickers and fades,

with each passing moment. The moon's

light no longer brings me comfort.

The sun's rays no longer bring me warmth.

No longer will I stand here and be torn down by the world.

My heart enters the silence of the world,

no longer beating with the majestic song of yours.

Time begain to slow.

Closer, closer........

Suddenly the sky brust into flames.

Fireworks lighting up the sky.

Reds and blues.

Greens and purples.

The sound of two hearts, beating to a bass line.

What has the world become?

So easy to find the wrong in things,

more and more people losing their way.

Everyone wants to live in the fairybook.

Bright skys in the fantasy world, waves crashing back home.

Storms racing in trying to break sprits and hearts.

Dont get lost in the clouds, make your way back down with the rain,

in my arms.

A slight breeze rolls in,

taking away all troubles and worries.

Sitting in the open fields pondering life,

hoping that a new day will bring back innocence.

Hoping with every passing person a smile or wave will come,

Hoping that in these fields a new life will begin.

This is the last time you see me.

Tear stained eyes, hands battered by the cruel world
reaching out to you. The same devilish grin breaks through
on your lips as I scream out for guidance.

Every mile a memory,

one that fades with every passing car.

New thoughts emerge with the rising of the moon.

Left to face the dying world alone as the crimson backdrop fades.

A flame in the breeze brings me back for a moment.
